Mercy Comfort Health Center for women is inviting the community to tour and learn more about a new health care facility dedicated to providing specialty care to women in midlife. On Saturday, April 22, from 9 a.m. to noon, women’s health medical providers and staff will be on-site to guide visitors through the newly renovated facility, located in the Mercy West clinic building, 1601 NW 114th St., Ste. 151, in Clive.

“The center is designed to help women feel at ease in a private, relaxed setting where they will receive personalized care from a team of specially trained women’s health care professionals,” said Leisha Barcus, director of Mercy Comfort Health Center for Women.

This 34,000 square foot facility is comprised of multiple patient care areas and will provide a variety of services to address specific women’s health issues – including breast care, pelvic health, menopause symptom management and mental health. The comprehensive approach to women’s health care will also include plastic and reconstructive surgery consultations, physical therapy, medical imaging, health screenings and assessments and complementary wellness services – such as chiropractic care, massage therapy and acupuncture.
