How do I find the Clive Chamber?

We are located at Clive City Hall, 1900 NW 114th Street, Clive, Iowa 50325.  From I-35/I-80 take the Hickman Road Exit.  Go East on Hickman Road to 111th Street.  At 111th Street take a right (South).  After you cross over the bridge, you will see Clive City Hall on the right, 1900 NW 114th Street, Clive, Iowa 50325.

What is a Chamber of Commerce?

A Chamber of Commerce is a membership-based business organization. Every Chamber of Commerce is different in the benefits they provide member businesses and the community. We encourage you to visit our membership benefits and services page to learn more!

Why would I need to join the Chamber?

Now, more than ever, building substantive relationships is crucial to sustaining and growing your business.  The Chamber provides opportunities on a daily basis for you to meet new contacts, whether it’s at a AM Connections or a professional development event. How do I join the Chamber?

Joining the Clive Chamber of Commerce is easy! Click HERE to review our Membership Rates and click HERE for our online application. Our Executive Director of the Clive Chamber would be happy to set up a meeting as well. Simply call the office at 515-222-5295. The Clive Chamber is located at 1900 NW 114th Street, Clive, Iowa 50325.

Does a Chamber Membership include other chamber access?

When you join the Clive Chamber of Commerce, you receive a complimentary membership to the Greater Des Moines Partnership and all of the benefits afforded to their members.  The Partnership and the Regional Affiliate Chambers created a new membership model in 2008 that combines the value of Chamber benefits with the value of Partnership benefits in one dues structure. This collaboration offers businesses all the business to business connection their local Chamber provides, as well as the regional access and exposure the Partnership provides. This “two for one” value helps businesses grow, helps Chambers grow and helps the Partnership grow. The power of the Partnership is now supported by 20 regional Affiliate Chambers and business organizations and more than 4,700 regional member businesses!

This does not, however provide individual memberships in each of the 20 Chambers from across the Region.  Each Chamber carries different benefits and we encourage you to review the benefits of each of the Chambers to see which ones best fit your needs.

How do I register to attend an event?

Registering for an event is easiest by registering through the event email sent prior to the event. You may also register on our Event RSVP & Sponsorship Opportunities page on our website or by calling the Chamber office at 515-222-5295.

May I attend an event as a guest?

Absolutely! The Clive Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors recognizes it is important to “test drive” the Chamber before making a commitment. We allow guests to visit up to two Clive Chamber events within a calendar year.

What types of sponsorship opportunities are available at the Chamber?

There are a variety of sponsorship opportunities available through the Chamber – everything from presenting sponsor of a major event like the Annual Dinner or Wild West Golf Outing to sponsoring a luncheon or networking event . How can my business gain exposure through the Chamber?

There are many great ways to gain exposure from the Chamber.  First, GET ACTIVE!  The Chamber is about meeting new people and building relationships for you and your business.  Make a goal to attend one event a month.  Second, sponsor an event or a member program, and expose your brand to thousands of new eyeballs.  Third, promote your brand through our online member directory and offer a special discount to our members and the community.  To round out the top five, think about the Chamber as an extension of your marketing plan.  Purchase space in our monthly eNewsletter reaching hundreds of members of the community or purchase advertising on our website that gets thousands of visits monthly.

How do I post a job opening or event?

To post a job opening or an event at your business, email the information to [email protected]. They will be listed on www.clivechamber.org within 1 business day and shortly after, as well as on the Chamber’s Facebook page, Twitter account, and/or weekly e-mail updates.

How do I receive the Chamber eNewsletter?

Member businesses have the opportunity to add as many representatives to our communication database. Every employee at a member business has the ability to receive Chamber emails, as well as the eNewsletter. To receive communication from the Chamber, click HERE and fill out the online form or call the Clive Chamber at 515-222-5295 to be added. There is no additional charge for this.

How do I join a committee or volunteer at the Chamber?

Let us know! We have a number of volunteer opportunities available. If you communicate to us the time of the year, your interests, goals etc., we can direct you to the best volunteer opportunity to fit your schedule and interests.

How do I register a complaint about a business?
