Territory Sales Manager – Profile by Sanford


Position Summary:
This individual will have an overall responsibility to:

Deliver sales results against assigned quota and the development of a sufficient, qualified pipeline of referral sources and members to meet high-growth revenue requirements.

Plan and implement strategies to identify opportunities, penetrate new business and expand market share within assigned territory.

Build and maintain qualified prospects through telephone prospecting, cold-calling, e-mail and direct marketing. Create strategic proposals and deliver compelling presentations to prospective customers.

Manage territory as a business to maximize sales through analyzing the market dynamics to ensure territory sales goals are met.

Develop and implement own territory business plan in line with corporate strategy and works within agreed budgets.

Work closely with store managers and coaches to coordinate sales efforts for each store (i.e. presentations, lunch and learns, promotions, and new store launches).

Position will work within a defined multi-state territory.  Travel is required.

When needed, may assist and shadow in 1:1 coaching to members of the Profile Weight Loss Program using a multidisciplinary approach to weight loss and weight maintenance.

•Minimum of 3-5 years business-to-business sales experience, medical sales preferred.

•Proven ability to succeed in a competitive sales environment

•Technical skills (i.e. computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Microsoft Office Suite)

•Understanding of online tools for use in lead sourcing

When students are providing patient care, treatment, and/or services as a part of their training, any/all employees may be asked to supervise the students.

Bachelor’s degree required – Business focus preferred

Develop signed service contracts
The number, dollar amount and profitability of newly signed contracts. Educate current and potential clients on Profile services. Make presentations to small and large groups. Assist with ongoing development of Profile to meet market needs. Display information at conferences and health fairs. Assist with programs to promote healthy lifestyles.

Develop relationships with employers that lead to signed contracts.
Respond to requests for information. Answer questions regarding Profile services. Actively develop client leads and aggressively pursue these leads documenting activities & reporting on progress. (Quotas set by director on-going & S&M plan). Identify potential client problems and intervene to mitigate the risk.

Ability to educate employers
Effectively communicate Profile services. Obtain & deliver customer reports communicating the data/outcomes. Bring resources to the table to fulfill customer’s expectations. Provide alternate options to control employer’s costs & improve employee’s health.
