During Beggar’s Night festivities, the Clive Police Department will be  keeping an extra eye out in the neighborhoods to do all we can to help ensure everyone has a safe and pleasant evening.  Parents, we need your help as well and ask that you keep visibility in mind when your children dress up for Halloween activities.  It can start with simple steps such as reflective tags on shoes to help them be seen better as they walk, especially when crossing the street.  There are also a variety of reflective products that can be put on the costumes themselves, such as dots and strips that won’t take away from the outfit design.  Please keep your child’s ability to see in mind as well, if they are wearing a mask or headwear.
