Gary and Sarah Clark started Cherry Clark because of their love of doing projects. Gary has been building furniture for over 30 years – his specialty is cherry mission style furniture. Hence the name Cherry Clark for our business. For over 20 years, Sarah has had a love for redecorating, remodeling, refurbishing, and painting. After several years of being asked to do projects for people, we decided to take a giant leap and turn our love into a business.
Cherry Clark specializes in custom, hand-made fine furniture with an emphasis on cherry wood (also use other hard woods including oak, walnut, and maple). They specialize in mission style desks, tables, bookcases, and free standing cabinets. Their furniture is made from solid wood (no laminates or plywood) with mortise and tenon and dovetail joinery. Cherry Clark can make whatever dimensions you request and can finish the wood with a wide variety of paints (including milk or chalk paint), stains or other finishes (General Finishes paints, stains and finishes). They also make farmhouse kitchen tables and barn doors, once again finished in however you prefer.
